For all those "real" FF fans should know who this is. This was done for the ECAU FF doujin. The twins thought it would be cool to do FF VI characters. I didn't know who he was so I just drew it and let it be. To them this guy has to be in every convo when u talk about Bad asses in RPGs. Swordtech ownz ur souls!! He had the greatest theme in FF history plus the harshest backstory evar. He didn't have this I need a hug when I was 12 type of stories.

Oh LMAO. I think I know what kind of characters you're talking about. I hate to go on a tangent here, but I if I interpret this comment right, I agree with you. I am tired of these angsty, whiny, bitchy (yet still manages to get the chicks) type prettyboys that have become so common in anime, manga and video games these days. I respect male characters like Cyan because they come off as honorable and sympathetic, not cliched, obnoxious, and only there for the sake of fansservicing the horny female fans. I'm saying this and I am female.

That said, GREAT artwork. Totally adding this to my favorites.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Cyan from Final Fantasy VI. Him and Shadow might be my favorite characters from the game. I don't know which one I like more (probably even).

I hate saying Shadow is my favorite character from FFVI, because it just seems too easy.

GOD DAMN I WISH I HAD GOT I CHANCE TO PLAY THIS GAME WHEN I WAS 12! I WOULD HAVE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

I can only repeat what others have said many times by now: Great fanart of a great character. He's one of my own favourite FF characters as well, and I haven't seen much fanart for him around. Very nice!
